Detailed Description
Patrón Reposado comprises two very different 100% agave triple distilled tequilas – one made using a traditional tahona and fermented with agave fibres, the other made using a modern roller shredder. The blend is aged in oak for at least two months prior to bottling.
Patron Reposado Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Citrus and vegetal with herbaceous pine sap, roasted coconut, wet cement, chargrilled peppers, white pepper, thyme and cinnamon.
Palate: Elegant and herbaceous with char-grilled peppers, cracked black pepper, rich vanilla, zesty citrus, thyme, dill, cinnamon and a touch of butterscotch influenced oak.
Finish: Fresh cinnamon and black pepper spice with lingering butterscotch.
Distillery Information
The Patrón Spirits Company was launched in 1989 by John Paul DeJoira and Martin Crowley. With its inception, came the world’s first ultra-premium Tequila. A new state-of-the-art facility was constructed in Jalisco in 2002, to facilitate its profound reception. It became the first spirits brand in its class to sell one million cases.
