Detailed Description
Select barrels are sampled from the Reserve stock and only the best are blended in extremely small batches to create a Whiskey of exceptional character. This extraordinary blend is finished in Oloroso Sherry casks imported from Spain until perfection is achieved. The final results are, to say the least, remarkable. Rich, intricate, and balanced, this Bourbon is one for the ages. There has never been a Bourbon like it and there will likely never be another.

Distillery Information
When Charles Nelson opened a grocery store in Nashville, TN that sold high quality whiskey and with flourishing sales, he quickly realized that the demand for his product far exceeded his supply, so he bought the distillery that was making his whiskey in Greenbrier, TN, and a patent for improved distillation. The distillery became a favorite stop of federal regulators and tax inspectors due to the warmth and hospitality shown to them by Charles and his employees. By introducing the category of Tennessee Whiskey to the world and offering a superior product, Charles Nelson had indeed become a household name but after decades of great struggle and brilliant triumph, Charles Nelson passed away on December 13, 1891. After three years of research, planning and hard work, Charles Nelson’s grandsons, Andy and Charlie Nelson, re-formed the business that had closed exactly 100 years earlier in 1909 during Prohibition. With the spirit in their blood, Charlie and Andy followed their hearts, devoting their lives to resurrecting Nelson’s Green Brier Whiskey and producing top-quality product, appreciated by aficionados everywhere.
