McAfee’s Benchmark is a rye-recipe Kentucky straight bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery, awarded 90 points by Wine Enthusiast and a former Gold Medal and Trophy winner at the International Spirits Challenge.
Benchmark Old No. 8 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Caramel notes with a delicate stone-fruit backdrop.
Palate: Robust and sturdy palate with some fine leather notes mingling with dry tobacco, a touch of oak and a hint of dried cherries.
Finish: The finish is smooth and calming.

Buffalo Trace Distillery is a distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, that is owned by the Sazerac Company. It has historically been known by several names, including the George T. Stagg Distillery and the Old Fire Copper Distillery.
