Casa Maestri was founded by Michael and Cecelia Maestri who moved from Houston, Texas to Jalisco, Mexico to found Destiladora del Valle de Tequila. The agave is selected for high sugar content and baked in traditional stone ovens in an effort to craft authentic and high-quality tequila. They use small-batch, pot still method of distillation.
Casa Maestri 1965 (750ml Flask) Blanco Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh, green aromas and flavors of aloe vera and geranium, lush fern and eucalyptus, guanabana, and roasted carrot.
Palate: A velvety, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and a tingling, elegant, medium-long finish revealing elements of fresh poblano and earthy oregano, champagne, bone marrow, and sweet rice pudding finish.
Finish: Smooth and long finish.
