Detailed Description
Mucha Liga celebrates the lucha libre tradition of Mexican wrestling with three tequilas that embody separate luchador characters in mask-shaped, handmade glass bottles. This style of wrestling is a time honored tradition as is the craft of tequila, here produced using old fashioned methods under sustainable practices in the town of Juanacatlán. The agave is grown in La Ciénega, an area that boasts nutrient rich soils that have not been subjected to over-harvesting. Canibal is a reposado aged 6 months in ex-bourbon casks.

Distillery Information
Destiladora Juanacatlaán is one of only two tequila distilling co-ops in all of Mexico. It is owned by all 80 of the agave farming families in Juanacatlán, a small town in the midlands of the tequila-producing state of Jalisco. These farmers select only the best agave from their collective harvests for production at the distillery. As a result, we can ensure the agave used in distillation is as fresh and high-quality as possible (otherwise our famers would not use it), resulting in a unique, very high quality, craft distilled tequila.
