After Tennessee state law allowed the legal distillation of spirits, the Ole Smoky Distillery quickly worked to create an extensive line of moonshine. One such creation is the Ole Smoky Peppermint Moonshine which blended the cool taste of peppermint to their superb moonshine to create a smooth and refreshing moonshine that’s great for both neat drinking and cocktail mixing.

When Tennessee state law changed to allow the distillation of spirits, we saw an opportunity to showcase the art of superior mountain-made moonshine. Ole Smoky is the first federally licensed distillery in the history of East Tennessee.
