Translated from Spanish, “Añejo” means aged or vintage which makes a lot of sense since our Pura Vida Extra Añejo Tequilas are aged in high quality, second generation Cognac barrels for at least three years. This extra aging process allows our Añejo to darken and mature resulting in a tequila that is extremely smooth, complex, and delightful.
