Macallan 15yo Fine Oak is matured in a combination of Bourbon & Sherry Oak Casks. This range has been around for a few years now and seems to have weathered the storm it caused amongst the faithful when it was initially released. The Macallan Triple Cask Matured Fine Oak 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Lovely sweet citrus, floral honey, and grain.
Palate: A perfect balance of spice, oak, orange zest, and dried fruit … very refined.
Finish: Dry … orange marmalade with a breath of oak-iness.

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
