Tullamore Dew Cider Cask Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh leafiness with a hint of crisp green apple and sweet maltiness.
Palate: Light bodied with a sweet, fruity vibrancy, that is soft and mellow with a lovely balance of oak, creamy malt and sweet, fresh apple notes.
Finish: Lingering sweetness with very subtle fruitiness.
Distillery Information
Tullamore DEW Distillery was founded within 50 years of the accident, and is situated at the very site where the hot air balloon struck a smoking chimney, which started the fire.
