Nose: Whiskey Hollow 151 Moonshine is subtle with caramel, butter, and brown sugar aromas.
Palate: A smooth, supple entry medium bodied palate with clean fruity, aged rum barrel and buttery vanilla flavors.
Finish: Finishes smoothly with vanilla cake and slight nuttiness.
Distillery Information
Whiskey Hollow Distillery is a Craft Distiller in Valley View, Texas since 2015 that has been making spirits for generations. They make Bourbon, Whiskey, Rum and Moonshine the old fashioned way, using what is known as a “double thumper” process. Their Double (charred white oak Barrel) thumper distillation system is an early American/Caribbean design first known to be used in the 1600’s and extensively used by back woods moonshiners. Their rare double thumper distillery is the only legal double thumper known in the US. Explanation of different distillation methods, how they change the flavor and smoothness of spirits will be part of the tour.
